MINERVA Studio

MINERVA Studio is the product studio of Minerva Software Inc., a British Columbia company. We build one thing: MINERVA, the model risk governance system of record for regulated institutions — every model and AI system, its owner, validator, approver, risk rating and evidence on one live record, aligned to OSFI Guideline E-23.

What we build

The map. An institution's models, the people who build, validate and approve them, the policies that govern them and the systems they run on, drawn as one graph. Knowing a model exists and knowing who signed for it are the same picture.

The doors. Rules the software enforces rather than describes: no one approves a model they built, nothing moves to production over an open high finding, a decision waits for a second person. A refused door says why, in one sentence.

The record. Every change is a row in one append-only, hash-chained ledger. The gap report, the board pack and the evidence packet are printed from it on every read, and the packet verifies offline with no access to MINERVA — the E-23 door walks through it.

How we work

1. 01Deterministic before generative.The register, the gates and the hashes answer in milliseconds, offline, identically every run. A model is asked only inside a loop a person started.
2. 02Nothing applies itself.An agent may propose and may not decide, record, sign or grant. One door leads from a proposal into the record, and it refuses the proposal's own author.
3. 03Evidence, or say so.Every row can be recomputed: a SHA-256 over canonical text that sha256sum reproduces, chained to the row before it. A gap is a row that says UNSPECIFIED, never a number invented to fill it.
